The first camera Christoph Seher called his own, was an ancient box camera from the 1930s with rolling films, he got from his grandpa.

 As teenager he developed his pictures in his own darkroom. At that time, in his darkroom, he also designed photomontages with political content to position himself against the political system in the former GDR, where he grew up.

 His affinity for images later also was one of the causes of building up his own graphic studio.

 Photography was and is always part of his life.
